Purpose and Legal Basis
Sarmatia collects and uses personal data in order to provide access to the website, our content and services in accordance with the requirements of Art. 6 Para. 1 a to f GDPR, i.e. insofar as the GDPR or another legal regulation allows it or the user has consented to the processing.
Data Subject Rights
You have the following rights under the applicable data protection law with regard to your personal data.
Right to information: You can request information from us at any time as to whether and which of your personal data is being processed. The information provided by Sarmatia is free of charge for you.
The right to information does not exist or only to a limited extent if and when the information would reveal information requiring confidentiality, e.g. information that is subject to professional secrecy.
Right to rectification: If your personal data stored by us is incorrect or incomplete, you have the right to ask us to correct this data at any time.
Right to deletion: You have the right to request that Sarmatia deletes your personal data if and when the data is no longer required for the purposes for which it was collected or if the processing is based on your consent and you have have revoked consent. In this case, Sarmatia must stop processing your personal data and remove it from its IT systems and databases.
There is no right to deletion if
- the data may not be deleted due to a legal obligation or must be processed due to a legal obligation;
- data processing is necessary for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims.
Right to restriction of processing: You have the right to ask Sarmatia to restrict the processing of your personal data.
Right to data portability: You have the right to receive the data you have provided from Sarmatia in a structured, common and machine-readable format, as well as the right to have this data transferred to another person responsible. This right only exists if

In accordance with Art. 77 GDPR, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority if you believe that the processing of your personal data violates data protection law.
Processing of personal data when the website is accessed

Duration of Data Storage
Your personal data will be deleted by us as soon as the data are no longer required for the fulfillment of the contractual and legal obligations.
Personal data is stored at least as long as it is necessary to fulfill contractual obligations and to exercise contractual rights. This period can go beyond the actual contract period, as the data can still be relevant within the limitation period even after the contract ends.
